About Hori Program

  • The annual HORI celebration by the Odia community will take place on March 14, 2009 at Murugan Temple Auditorium at 4:00 pm. Please mark this date and plan to attend with your family and friends. This is organized by JOGA.

  • In India Hori celebration provides a major forum for exploring friendship, happiness and enjoyment.

  • In many parts of Orissa Hori is celebrated by the procession of deities of different villages with many talent shows that signify the capabilities of the particular village.

  • Some of us decided to bring that atmosphere of "Hori" and celebrate it with cheers and color.
