DIRECTIONS to the Hindu temple: From Beltway (I-495), take New Hampshire Ave. North towards White Oak. At the 3rd traffic light, turn right on Powder Mill Road. At next traffic light, turn right on Riggs Road. The Hindu temple is the last building on the left before the Beltway.
Ratha construction project:
Ratha construction preparation has already started. Following people have volunteered to help in design and construction of 21 feet Ratha. We need more volunteers. If you can help any way, please contact one of the volunteers.

The tentative budget for the New Ratha is $10,000.00. JOGA has some seed
money to start the construction. However, we invite you all to contribute to
ratha construction project. You can choose any of the following sponsorship.
The fund will be used for Ratha construction and festival expenses only.
Please remember this is one time expense as we expect this ratha to be
lasting for at least ten years.

2. Darpadalan sponsorship (In the name of Devi Subhadra's Ratha at Puri) -

festival)

On occasion of Akhaya trutiya (the day ratha construction work starts at
Puri) May, 8, 2008 puja offering performed at Hindu temple. Flower and
Coconut brought from temple were offered at ratha construction site. This
ceremony signifies the start of ratha construction work.
