November bhajan pragram at new place: Please join us
for third Saturday bhajan program on Nov. 21st at 6:00 PM
at
20612 Summer Sweet
Terrace, Germantown, MD - 20876

Since Hindu temple has scheduled another program at same time on
third Saturday, we have planned November month bhajan program at
Debaki and Anjana's place in Germantown. We will follow same
program schedule as that of temple starting at 6:00 PM and
ending at 9:00 PM. We hope more people from near by area of
Germantown will join this program.
2. December bhajan
program: As the last bhajan program of the year, we plan to
offer chapan bhoga to Lord Jagannath. Preeti Biswal has agreed
to coordinate the chapan bhoga program. Thank you all who have
volunteered last year and hope you will extend similar help for
next month program. Please contact Preeti (p_rautray@rediffmail.com)
and tell her which bhoga item you can prepare. If you are
wondering what are the items and what you prepared last time,

Also we have
planned to chant akhand mahamantra (Hare Krishna Hare Krishna..)
from 5:00-9:00 PM on third Saturday bhajan progrm on December
19th at Hindu temple. If you want to lead in chanting the
mahamantra for any specific duration, please let me know so that
we can put you on schedule.
3. Bhajan
Sponsorship: It is now time to plan our 2010 bhajan
sponsorship. If you want to celebrate your family function or
want to serve prasad to devotees, please consider sponsoring
bhajan program in one of the month in 2010. You can see the

4. October bhajan news:
We thank all the devotees who
participated in the bhajan program for the month of October. In
spite of bad weather we saw reord number of devotees attended bhajan
program. We should thank the sponsors Meera
and Shashadhar Mohaptra, Silver spring, MD, taking
special interest to call many friends. We congratulated their
daughter Iva who just returned
from long military duty in Afganistan. Children participated in
lighting candle in celebration of dewali.
